The Judeo Christian, Romanic laws are a humane safety mesh:  The Matrix (Movie) is a complicated and entertaining juxtaposition between technology, machine, the value of human life and religious faith.  The juxtaposition in the Matrix confirms that the machine is not the purpose of socio-economic endeavor but the purpose is the human being.  It confirms the nexus between a toaster or washing machine, a human being using it and the religious faith of the human being or the lack thereof. Usually, we are thankful. The machine saves us time; more time to worship and to just be thankful. I thank God!  The movie confirms that faith continues in spite of all the machines in the world. It confirms the faith that we have already encountered as we see machines in our pursuit of a living efficiency envelope us. The internet is the tree of knowledge of good and evil. How do you have consumption if there is no work as work is taken up by machines and automation?  You need comfort and safety and cannot expect that human beings will be left to resort to crimes of necessity that reduce socio-economic safety and dignity, rendering the world a socio-economic desert and consumption eating in public or shopping unsafe or risky for the average citizen; the average citizen who has had to become the average thief.
